IT contractors await Budget announcement
People across the UK will be eagerly awaiting the announcement of the Budget later this month to see how their financial state will be affected.
IT contractors will be interested to see if there are changes to issues such as taxation which could affect their finances negatively.
The prime minister Gordon Brown announced that the Budget will take place on March 24th, opening the door for the general election to take place six weeks later on May 6th.
"For better or for worse, with me what you see is what you get," said Mr Brown.
"We have got through this storm together but there are still substantial risks ahead."
Alistair Darling, the chancellor of the exchequer, is expected to announce more cuts to public spending, which could affect the salaries of IT contractors working in that sector.
He may also bring in increased taxes to try and cut the deficit in the UK's budget.
